Foreign Monolith
An object, what is it?
An illusion of a floating monolith, abducting passers-by into its belly. Trapping them in a state of wonder and intrigue.
An object from the ancient times that shares its knowledge of the future. Sharing material technology, hobbies of the future, a place to voice your hopes and resolutions, and a space that will provide wonder and amusement to future minds.
This ancient spacecraft will showcase sustainable materials that are malleable to our creativity. Strong enough for play, and tough enough to endure the weather. It will also serve as a place where small levitating racers can compete, or as humans call them, FPV drones. There will also be an interactive feature where abductees can write their hopes and messages to the future, which will hang on our ceiling where it can flutter in the wind. The space provides a variety of open ended activities, all only limited to one’s own imagination. Some will only show themselves to youthful minds, a secret only unlockable to innocent souls.
The space is ours, the space is yours, the space is for our common future.
